Hook Fun Run (Sunday 20th May 2012)
Any Year 6 children interested in helping to man the water stations for the Hook Fun Run at Hook Junior School and Griffin Way this Sunday 20th May, please contact Lindsay either by phone (Mob: 07762 888340) or e-mail at shearmur.graham@tiscali.co.uk. The Base supplies each volunteer with a drink and a few snacks, together with a free burger/hot dog voucher. The children will need to be at The Base at 10 am on Sunday morning, and are usually finished by 12.30 pm.
End of SATs Celebration (Friday 18th May)
Unfortunately the unpredictable but generally wet weather (and current hosepipe ban) is making the Wet & Wild Party planned for Friday 18th May seem like a bad idea. We have therefore decided to replace it with a ‘Messy Mayhem Night!’ There will be games like marshmallow dunked in chocolate sauce drop, ice cream spoon, bobbing for worms in chocolate pudding, swinging doughnuts, alphabetti spaghetti boggle and egg roulette. If you plan to participate in any of the games, please come dressed in old clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and bring along a towel.
